1. Can we set up a date for our next meeting?(x) / Can we set a date for our next meeting? (o)

스케줄이나 plan을 정하고자 할 때 set up을 사용한다. a date 앞에는 단순히 set을 써야 한다. 

ex) Can we set up a schedule for the next meeting?

 

 

2. I have still a lot of works to do (x) / I have still a lot of work to do (o)

많은 일들이 여전히 수중에 있을때 I've got my hands full. 뒤에 써주면 좋은 표현으로 I have still a lot of work to do. 를 많이 쓰지만 work 뒤에 s를 써 실수하는 경우가 많이 있다. 앞에 a lof of를 썼으므로 work는 그냥 singular word로 사용해야 한다. 반면 The museum showcases many works by famous artists. 의 경우에는 plural로 써야 한다. 

ex) These are the works I've completed

 

 

3. Let's discuss about it. (x) / Let's discuss it (o)

이 경우 discuss는 전치사를 필요로 하지 않는다. 그냥 바로 discuss 하고자 하는 대상을 바로 뒤에 붙여서 말해야 한다.
ex) Let's discuss the plan, They discussed the issue thoroughly.

 

 

 

4. I would love to get some feedbacks (x) / I would love to get some feedback (o)

 

feedback 은 singular으로 써야 한다. 

ex) Thank you for the feedback on my work.
